Venture Space MtA
Venture Space MtA Entrepreneurial Thinking Incubator Powered by TD Ready Commitment provides support for students to develop, catalyze, and test social and commercial entrepreneurial ideas, potentially bringing those ideas to market or the community.
The program is overseen by the Office of Experiential Learning and Career Development in collaboration with other initiatives and programs designed to enrich and support student entrepreneurial endeavours and career preparation.

Opportunities for students
In celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (November 18-24), the office of Experiential Learning & Career Development has pulled together a week of events for our own students to explore entrepreneurship on campus. We have a wide variety of activities to support students from any degree program who want to explore entrepreneurial ideas, gain skills and potentially funding.
November 14-16 - Collide Discover
Collide Discover is for students who are curious about entrepreneurship or have a business idea they want to develop.
This weekend boot-camp will teach you how to find your market, to identify and reach customer, and how to register a business. This is a great opportunity to develop your small business idea, meet like-minded peers, and receive mentorship. Over the weekend you will learn innovation and entrepreneurial skills, de-risk your start-up your idea and/or learn about what it takes to start a business, work through the business model canvas process, and develop a pitch (for prizes!)
November 17-21 - Entrepreneurship Week
Stay tuned for workshops and events all week long!
November 22 - The Pitch
The Pitch is a Dragon’s Den style event where Mount A students have the opportunity to pitch their business idea or social innovation project to a panel of judges.
We are so happy to be able to award cash prizes thanks to our generous donors including the TD Ready Commitment!
This competition is open to all current Mount A students regardless of academic program or year of study.
Applications open October 1.
